Training program conducted on Financial Statements of local councils!
A training program on the preparation of financial statements for local councils was conducted in collaboration with the Male’ Atoll Council, MILG and the Auditor General’s Office. The training program was conducted from February 25 to 26 at the Local Government Authority. The training program aims to enhance the technical capacity of local council staff to prepare financial statements of local councils in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standard under the Cash Basis.
The participants were explained the structure of the International Public Sector Accounting Standard under the Cash Basis, statements of receipts and expenditures of councils, approved budgets and expenditures, statements of assets and financial liabilities and how to describe notes and details of the said statements.
A total of 31 participants from Local councils and the staff of Local Government Authority completed the training.
The sessions were facilitated by the facilitators of the Auditor General's Office. Auditor General Mr. Hussain Niyazi and Local Government Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mariyam Zulfa and the vice-president of the Male Atoll Council, Esa Ahmed participated in the closing ceremony.
ލޯކަލް ކައުންސިލްތަކުގެ މާލީ ބަޔާން ތައްޔާރުކުރުމާއި ގުޅޭ ތަމްރީނު ޕްރޮގުރާމެއް މާލެ އަތޮޅު ކައުންސިލާއި، މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އަދި އޮޑިޓަރ ޖެނެރަލްގެ އޮފީހާއި ގުޅިގެން ކުރިއަށްގޮސްފިއެވެ. މި ތަމްރީން ޕްރޮގްރާމް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިއައީ ފެބްރުއަރީ 25 އިން 26 އަށް ލޯކަލް ގަވަރމަންޓް އޮތޯރިޓީގައެވެ. މި ތަމްރީން ޕްރޮގްރާމްގެ މަޤުސަދަކީ އިންޓަރނޭޝަނަލް ޕަބްލިކް ސެކްޓަރ އެކައުންޓިންގ ސްޓޭންޑާރޑް އަންޑާރ ދި ކޭޝް ބޭސިސް އަށް ލޯކަލް ކައުންސިލްތަކުގެ މާލީ ބަޔާންތައް ތައްޔާރުކުރުމަށް ކައުންސިލްތަކުގެ މުވައްޒަފުންގެ ފަންނީ ޤާބިލްކަން އިތުރު ކުރުމެވެ.
މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްގެ ތެރެއިން އިންޓަރނޭޝަނަލް ޕަބްލިކް ސެކްޓަރ އެކައުންޓިންގ ސްޓޭންޑާރޑް އަންޑާރ ދި ކޭޝް ބޭސިސް އެކުލެވިގެންވާ ގޮތާއި، ކައުންސިލްތަކުގެ ފައިސާ ލިބުނުގޮތާއި ހޭދަކުރެވުނު ގޮތުގެ ބަޔާނާއި، ފާސްކުރި ބަޖެޓާއި އެ ބަޖެޓުން ހޭދަކުރި ގޮތުގެ ބަޔާނާއި، މިލްކިއްޔާތާއި މާލީ ޒިންމާތަކުގެ ބަޔާނާއި އަދި ދެންނެވުނު ބަޔާންތަކުގެ ނޯޓުތަކާއި ތަފްސީލް ބަޔާންކުރާނެގޮތްވަނީ ބައިވެރިންނަށް ކިޔައިދީފައެވެ.
ދެ ދުވަހުގެ މުއްދަތަށް ކުރިއަށް މި ގެންދެވުނު ތަމްރީނު ޕްރޮގްރާމުގައި ކައުންސިލްތަކުންނާއި ލޯކަލް ގަވަރމަންޓް އޮތޯރިޓީން ޖުމުލަ 31 ބައިވެރިން ތަމްރީން ފުރިހަމަކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ.
މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްގައި ހިމެނުނު ސެޝަންތައް ފެސިލިޓޭޓްކޮށްދެއްވާފައިވަނީ އޮޑިޓަރ ޖެނެރަލްގެ އޮފީހުގެ ފެސިލިޓޭޓަރުންނެވެ. އަދި މި ޕްރޮގްރާމް ނިންމުމުގެ ރަސްމިއްޔާތުގައި އޮޑިޓަރ ޖެނެރަލް އަލްފާޟިލް ހުސައިން ނިޔާޒީ އާއި ލޯކަލް ގަވަރމަންޓް އޮތޯރިޓީގެ ޗީފް އެގްޒްކެޓިވް އޮފިސަރ ޑރ. މަރިޔަމް ޒުލްފާ އަދި މާލެއަތޮޅު ކައުންސިލްގެ ނައިބު ރައީސް އީސާ އަޙްމަދު ވަނީ ބައިވެރިވެވަޑައިގެންފައެވެ
