މޯލްޑިވްސް އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އޮފް ލޯކަލް ގަވަރނަންސް (އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީ) އިފްތިތާޙްކޮށްފި
Inauguration of the Maldives Institute of Local Governance.

Maldives Institute of Local Governance (M.I.L.G) has been officially inaugurated on the eve of this year's Governance Day. The event was held on Sunday, February 26, 2023, and our chief guest for the function was the Honorable Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem.
M.I.L.G is an institute of the Local Government Authority and is registered with the Ministry of Higher Education. The Institute will arrange training for Local Councils and shape them to be more robust and accessible.
The official website: www.milg.gov.mv, Strategic Plan and the Training Directory of the Institute were also launched at the ceremony. The Strategic Plan includes goals for 2023-2025, action steps to achieve these goals, as well as the vision, mission and core values of the Institution. The Training Directory includes the training programs to be conducted, the dates of these programs and the target audience.
Our training programs focus on:

· Planning and Development

· Finance & Project Management
· Natural Resource Management
· Social Accountability and Citizens Governance
· Social Protection
· Online courses conducted through Kiyeveni.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Institute signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with four parties in cooperation with the Institute over the next five years. The MoUs were signed by the Civil Service Training Institute, the Islamic University of Maldives, Transparency Maldives and Villa College. The main objective of these MoUs is to provide training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of council staff and facilitate research and resources by making full use of M.I.L.G and their expertise in strengthening council management.
Kiyeveni portal's (kiyeveni.mv) new features have also been rolled out. This education portal was launched on 14th March 2021 with the assistance of the UNDP, to address the ever-increasing political participation of women and to empower women academically, technically and politically. The short and long courses currently included in the portal are open to everyone and aimed at Councilors, council staff and members of the Women’s Development Committee (WDC).
The portal was first launched in 2021 with 5 self-paced courses, but now there are 19 courses in different fields. They include:

o WDC's Orientation
o Training women to create a peaceful and strong society
o Project Management and Proposal Writing
o Office Skills Training (Office Environment Skills Training)
o Familiarization of councilors
o Women Leadership
o Magey Council App

o Finance & Procurement
o CV Development & Job Interview
o Collaboration (teamwork)
In addition, various government agencies and private associations are also working on designing courses for the portal. Kiyeveni has self-paced courses, and now, online live classes to improve the quality of the courses and enhance the experience. Courses and live classes will be held on scheduled dates and times for councilors, WDC members and various student groups. There is also a plethora of resources in the decentralization-related field available through the Kiyeveni Digital Library.

މޯލްޑިވްސް އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އޮފް ލޯކަލް ގަވަރނަންސް (އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީ) އަކީ ލޯކަލް ގަވަރމަންޓް އޮތޯރިޓީން ކައުންސިލްތަކަށް ދޭންޖެހޭ ތަމްރީނުތައް ކަނޑައަޅައި، އެ ތަމްރީނުތައް ކައުންސިލްތަކަށް ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމުގެ އިންތިޒާމް ހަމަޖައްސައި، ކައުންސިލްތަކަށް ދޭ ތަމްރީނުތައް އިތުރަށް ހަރުދަނާކޮށް ގިނަ ބަޔަކަށް ތަމްރީނު ލިބޭފަދަ ގޮތަކަށް ތަމްރީނުތައް ބައްޓަންކޮށް، އަދި އޮތޯރިޓީން ދޭ ތަމްރީނުތަކަކީ އެހެން މުވައްސަސާތަކުންނާއި ތަމްރީނު ލިބިގަންނަ ފަރާތްތަކުން ބަލައިގަންނަ ފެންވަރު ރަނގަޅު އަގުހުރި ތަމްރީނުތަކަކަށް ހެދުމަށް މިނިސްޓްރީ އޮފް ހަޔަރ އެޑިއުކޭޝަންގައި ރެޖިސްޓްރީކޮށްފައިވާ އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓެކެވެ.
އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީ އިފްތިތާޙްކުރުމުގެ މި ހަފްލާގައި މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓްގެ ރަސްމީ ވެބްސައިޓް www.milg.gov.mv އަދި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓްގެ ސްޓްރެޓިޖިކް ޕްލޭންވެސް ވަނީ މި ހަފްލާގައި އިފްތިތާހްކޮށްފައެވެ. އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީ ގެ ސްޓްރެޓިޖިކް ޕްލޭންގައި ހިމެނެނީ 2023 ވަނަ އަހަރުން ފެށިގެން 2025 ވަނަ އަހަރާ ހަމައަށް މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓުން ހާސިލުކުރަން ބޭނުންވާ ލަނޑުދަނޑިތަކާއި ޓާގެޓްތަކާއި، މި ލަނޑުދަނޑިތައް ހާސިލުކުރުމަށް ކުރާނެ މަސައްކަތްތަކާއި، ޕަރމޯންސް މިންކުރާނެ ގޮތްތަކާއި، އިންސްޓިއުޓްގެ ވިޝަން، މިޝަން އަދި ކޯ ވެލިއުސްތަކެވެ.
މީގެ އިތުރުން، މި ހަފްލާގައި މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓްގެ ޓްރެއިނިންގ ޑައިރެކްޓަރީވަނީ އިފްތިތާހްކޮށްފައެވެ. ޓްރެއިނިންގ ޑައިރެކްޓްރީގައި އިންސްޓިއުޓުން ކުރިޔަށް އޮތް ތިން އަހަރު ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދިޔުމަށް ހަމަޖެހިފައިވާ ޓްރެއިނިން ޕްރޮގްރާމްތަކާއި މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްތައް ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދާނެ ތާރީޚާއި އަދި އަމާޒުކުރެވޭ ފަރާތްތައް ހިމެނިފައިވެއެވެ.
ޓްރެއިނިންގ ޑައިރެކްޓްރީގައި މައިގަނޑުގޮތެއްގައި ޓްރެއިނިންތައް ބަހާލެވިފައިވާ ދާއިރާތަކަކީ:

އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީ ގެ ސްޓްރެޓީޖިކް ޕްލޭނާއި ޓްރެއިނިންގ ޑައިރެކްޓްރީގެ އިތުރުން އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓްގެ އީ-ލަރނިންގ ޕޯޓަލް ކަމުގައިވާ 'ކިޔެވެނި' ޕޯޓަލް (kiyeveni.mv)އަށް ފަހުން ގެނެވުނު ބަދަލުތަކާއި އައު ފީޗަރސްތައްވެސްވަނީ ރޯލްއައުޓް ވަނީ ކޮށްފައެވެ. 'ކިޔެވެނި ޕޯރޓަލް' އަކީ ލާމަރުކަޒީ ޤާނޫނަށް ގެނެވުނު 8 ވަނަ އިސްލާހާއި އެކު ސިޔާސީ މައިދާނަށް ނުކުތުމަށް އިންތިހާބުގައި އަލަށް ކުރިމަތިލި އަންހެނުންގެ އަދަދު ގިނަ ވުމާއެކު، ހިންގުމުގެ އިސް ސަފުގައި އަންހެނުންގެ ބައިވެރިވުން އިތުރުކޮށް، އަންހެނުން ބާރުވެރިކުރުވާ އިލްމީގޮތުންނާއި، ފަންނީގޮތުން އަދި ސިޔާސީގޮތުން ޤާބިލް ބަޔަކަށް ހެދުމަށްޓަކައި އެއަޒުމުގައި 2021 ވަނަ އަހަރުގެ މާރޗް 14 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ޔޫ.އެން.ޑީ.ޕީގެ އެހީތެރިކަމާއެކު ތައާރަފުކޮށްފައިވާ ޕޯޓަލްއެކެވެ.
ކިޔެވެނި ޕޯޓަލްގައި މިހާރު ހިމެނިފައިވާ ސެލްފް ޕޭސްޑް ކޯސްތަކުގެ އިތުރުން ހުރިހާ ޖިންސަކަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން އެހެނިހެން ކޯސްތަކާއި ފީޗާސްތައް އިތުރުކުރުމަކީ ޕޯޓަލް އިތުރަށް ފުޅާކޮށް ފުރިހަމަކުރުމުގެ ދިގު ރަސްތާގެ ޕްލޭންގައި ހިމެނިފައިވާ ކަމެކެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން، މިހާރު ޕޯޓަލްގައި ހިމެނޭ ކޯސްތަކަކީ ދެޖިންސަށް އާއްމުކޮށް ހުޅުވާލެވިފައިވާ ކޯސްތަކާއި އަދި ވަކިން ހާއްސަކޮށް ކައުންސިލަރުން، ކައުންސިލްގެ މުވައްޒަފުން އަދި އަންހެނުންގެ ތަރައްޤީއަށް މަސައްކަތްކުރާ ކޮމިޓީގެ މެމްބަރުންނަށް އަމާޒުކޮށް މުހިއްމު ހުނަރުތައް ދަސްކޮށްދިނުމުގެ ދިގު އަދި ކުރު ކޯސްތަކެކެވެ.
ޕޯޓަލްއަށް ގެނެވުނު އައު ފީޗަރސްތަކާއި އައު ކޯސްތަކަށް ބަލާއިރު، 2021 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޕޯޓަލް ލޯންޗްކުރެވިގެން ދިޔައިރު ފަސް ސެލްފް ޕޭސްޑް ކޯސް ހިމެނުނުކަމުގައިވީނަމަވެސް މިހާރު ޕޯޓަލްގެ ތެރޭގައި ތަފާތު އެކި ދާއިރާތަކުން 19 ކޯސް ހިމެނެއެވެ. އޭގެ ތެރޭގައި:

މީގެ އިތުރުންވެސް ސަރުކާރުގެ އެކި އިދާރާތަކާއި އަމިއްލަ ޖަމްއިއްޔާތަކުންވެސް ޕޯޓަލްގައި ކޯސް ފަރުމާކުރުމުގެ މަސައްކަތްކުރަމުންދެއެވެ.
އަދި ކިޔެވެނި ޕޯޓަލްގެ ކޯސްތަކުގެ ފެންވަރު ރަނގަޅުކޮށް، ޕޯރޓަލް އިން ލިބޭ ތަޖުރިބާ އިތުރަށް ފުޅާކުރުމުގެ މަޤުސަދުގައި ސެލްފް ޕޭސްޑް ކޯސްތަކުގެ އިތުރުން މިހާރު އޮންލައިން ލައިވް ކްލާސްތައް ވެސް ވަނީ ތައާރަފްކުރެވިފައެވެ. އެގޮތުން ކައުންސިލަރުންނާއި، އަންހެނުންގެ ތަރައްޤީއަށް މަސައްކަތްކުރާ ކޮމިޓީ މެންބަރުން އަދި އެކިއެކި ސްޓޫޑެންޓް ގްރޫޕްތަކަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން ކޯސްތަކާއި ލައިވް ކްލާސްތައް ތާވަލުކުރެވިފައިވާ ތާރީހާއި ގަޑިތަކުގައި ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދެވޭނެއެވެ.
ހަމައެހެންމެ، ޕޯޓަލްގައި ހިމެނޭ ކޯސްތަކުގެ ދާއިރާއާ ގުޅޭ އިތުރު މައުލޫމާތު ހިމެނޭ ކަރުދާހާއި، ލާމަރުކަޒީ ނިޒާމާ ގުޅުން ހުރި ދާއިރާތަކުން ތައްޔާރުކުރެވިފައިވާ އަތްމަތީ ފޮތްތައް، ދިރާސާތައް، މައުލޫމާތު ކަރުދާސްތައް އަދި ހޭލުންތެރިކުރުވާ ކުރު ވީޑިއޯ އަދި ފޮޓޯތައް ކިޔެވެނި ޑިޖިޓަލް ލައިބްރަރީގެ ޒަރިއްޔާ އިން ލިބިލައްވާނެއެވެ.
އެމްއައި.އެލް.ޖީ އިފްތިތާހްކުރުމުގެ މި ހަފްލާގައި ކުރިޔަށް އޮތް ފަސް އަހަރުތެރޭގައި މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓާއި ގުޅިގެން ކުރެވިދާނެ ކަންކަމާއި ގުޅޭގޮތުން 4 ފަރާތަކާއެކު މި އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓުން ފަހުމުނާމާތަކެއްގައި ސޮއިކުރެވިފައިވެއެވެ. މިގޮތުން މި ފަހުމުނާމާތަކުގައި ސޮއި ކޮށްފައިވަނީ ސިވިލް ސަރވިސް ޓްރެއިނިންގ އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އިސްލާމީ ޔުނިވަރސިޓީ، ޓްރާންސްޕޭރެންސީ މޯލްޑިވްސް އަދި ވިލާ ކޮލެޖެވެ.
މި ފަހުމުނާމާތަކުގެ މައިގަނޑު މަޤުސަދަކީ ކައުންސިލް އިދާރާތަކުގައި މަސައްކަތްކުރާ މުވައްޒަފުންގެ ހުނަރާއި ޤާބިލިއްޔަތުކަން އިތުރުކުރުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ތަމްރީނު ޕްރޮގްރާމްތައް ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމާއި، ކައުންސިލް އިދާރާތަކުގެ ހިންގުން ހަރުދަނާކުރުމުގައި އެމް.އައި.އެލް.ޖީއާއި އެފަރާތްތަކުގެ ތަޖުރިބާ އާއި ފަންނުވެރިކަމުގެ ބޭނުން ފުރިހަމަ ގޮތުގައި ހިފައި، ދިރާސާތައްކޮށް، ވަސީލަތްތަކުގެ ބޭނުން ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި ހިފުމަށް މަގު ފަހިކުރުމެވެ.
