The Maldives Institute of Local Governance (MILG) recently concluded a three-day training program aimed at empowering women councilors across the nation. This marks the second batch of a crucial training initiative, which took place from October 31st to November 2nd, 2023. A total of 24 dedicated councilors from various regions of the Maldives participated in this training. And a total of 6 institutes facilitated the sessions, including, Human Rights Commission of the Maldives, Information Commissioner's Office, Transparency Maldives, Civil Service Training Institute, International Republican Institute and local Government Authority.
މޯލްޑިވްސް އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އޮފް ލޯކަލް ގަވަރނަންސް (އެމްއައިއެލްޖީ) އިން ދާދި ފަހުން އަންހެން ކައުންސިލަރުން ބާރުވެރި ކުރުވުމުގެ މަގުސަދުގައި ތިން ދުވަހުގެ ތަމްރީނު ޕްރޮގްރާމެއް ވަނީ ހިންގާފައެވެ. މިއީ 2023 އޮކްޓޯބަރ 31 އިން ނޮވެމްބަރ 2 އަށް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިޔަ މުހިންމު ތަމްރީނު ޙަރަކާތެއްގެ ދެވަނަ ބެޗެވެ. މި ތަމްރީނުގައި ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އެކި ސަރަޙައްދުތަކުން ޖުމްލަ 24 ކައުންސިލަރުން ބައިވެރިވެފައިވެއެވެ. އަދި ޖުމްލަ 6 އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓުން ސެޝަންތަކަށް ފެސިލިޓޭޓްކޮށްދީފައިވެއެވެ. އޭގެ ތެރޭގައި ހިއުމަން ރައިޓްސް ކޮމިޝަން އޮފް ދަ މޯލްޑިވްސް، އިންފޮމޭޝަން ކޮމިޝަނަރުގެ އޮފީސް، ޓްރާންސްޕޭރެންސީ މޯލްޑިވްސް، ސިވިލް ސަރވިސް ޓްރޭނިންގ އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް، އިންޓަރނޭޝަނަލް ރިޕަބްލިކަން އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އަދި ލޯކަލް ގަވަރމަންޓް އޮތޯރިޓީގެ ފެސިލިޓޭޓަރުން ހިމެނެއެވެ
